DESCRIPTION
This program will explore the continually evolving world of legal technology and the ethical implications for attorneys. A range of technologies will be introduced and considered including those relevant in the remote work context. In addition, various rules of professional responsibility and formal opinions will be highlighted on the topical area. Further, a series of practical technological hypotheticals will also be introduced and examined to illustrate the practical implications of various technologies.
LEARNING OBJECTIVE
To recognize and further understand the lawyer's responsibilities of technological competency and the impact of various technologies on this obligation.
